A dungeon defense tower defense

Description

Tiny Hero's was written in Objective-C for iOS, so one of the few non-Unity games on the list. Inspired by a mixture of Plants v. Zombies and Dungeon Master, this was a brutally difficult dungeon tower defense puzzler. With so many units, and Hero's with distinctive AIs, this game was a lot of fun to work on.

Building level for this game was a unique challenge requiring a very fast iteration time. Plus we wanted the levels to be downloadable as expansion packs. For this we created an online map creation tool that level designers could quickly iterate and then test either on PC or directly on device.

My Contribution

Like most all my projects, I lead this effort from design through publish. I was the lead engineer on the project and developed most all of the major systems and game mechanics. I lead other engineers to develop other parts of the game.

We were pretty enamored with the characters here and the Epic Knight lives on in One Epic Knight, one of our first runners.
